Waukesha  State Bank and the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their  sixth annual Yellow Brick Road 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, June 4, 2011.  Registration begins at 6:30 am with the Run/Walk kicking off at 8 am  sharp. Rogers Memorial Hospital will sponsor the Half-Mile Kids Run  taking place after the main Run/Walk at approximately 8:45 am. The event  will begin and finish at Fowler Park on Oakwood Avenue. The scenic  route will be through downtown Oconomowoc, north on Lake Street between  Lac La Belle and Fowler Lake, and then meander through new housing  sub-divisions north of Lisbon Road. 
First place male and female overall will receive trophies. Additional event medals will be awarded for 1st-3rd male/female in each age division.  All  children 10 and under who participate in the Kids Run will receive  finisher ribbons. The first boy and girl runner will also receive  medals. 
As  part of the Chamber’s Workplace Wellness Program, corporate teams are  encouraged and invited to participate. There are special prices for  Corporate Teams. Event registration forms are available at the Chamber  office, 175 E. Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Oconomowoc. 
Entry  fees include: $20 by May 1, $25 from May 2 through June 3 and $30 day  of Run. The Kids Run is $10 per entry (10 years of age and under), and a  special family rate of $15 per person for 4 or more in 5K Run/Walk.
